Locuming Services

My name is Martin McDowell and I am an experienced small animal veterinary surgeon looking for locuming positions in southern England and Wales from February 2012 onwards.

Experience

I have 7 years of experience in practising small animal veterinary medicine both in the UK and abroad and I am currently in full time employment at a small animal practice in Wales, where I have worked for the past 5 years.

I am surgically and medically competent.
I have no preference on working either sole charge or to be part of a team. I can work OOH.
I have no specific location preference but would concentrate on areas of England (up to about Manchester and Leeds) and Wales.
I would prefer locum opportunities up to 2 weeks in length unless I have work there before.
I have a full and valid UK driving licence.
I have my own professional indemnity insurance through VDS (indemnity limit £100,000)
I have incorporated a limited company for trading Pet Doc Martin Ltd. (more information on the company HERE)
I have my own car but I am only insured for commuting to and from the workplace
